The CRT 625 Temperature Controlled Cabinet was designed to house NATs and NUs. It can also be used as a stand alone cabinet for specimen storage and conditioning
The CRT 625 Temperature Controlled Cabinet can be controlled to within 0.2C over the range -10C to +60C using a P.I.D. digital temperature controller, the CAL3200. Forced air circulation over the heater and cooling fins and though the air duct in the rear wall ensures a uniform temperature throughout the cabinet. The cabinet also features an over temperature device which will switch off the fans, heating and cooling and illuminates a warning light if the temperature exceeds the set temperature. The front door is double-glazed and contains a heating element to ensure that the glass door remains clear whatever the temperature. Defrost water drains via a pipe on the back of the machine to a heated tray underneath the cabinet where the water evaporates.
